Heater Repair/AC Repair

While it’s certainly possible that a preventative maintenance service call can uncover an issue and turn into a minor part replacement, there is usually a pretty distinct difference between these two types of visits. An HVAC repair includes replacing parts and internal components when things are broken, and you typically notice something is wrong. This could be a variety of things:

  • Your AC is blowing hot air
  • Your furnace is too noisy
  • The system is kicking on or off too frequently or not enough (cycling issues)
  • The outside unit won’t turn on

For your AC unit, this could be an issue with the fan motor, compressor, malfunctioning thermostats, or damaged electrical connections. For the heater, it could be the evaporator coil, gas valve, heat pump, or even the ignitor switch. Sorry … we know these parts can sound pretty

confusing. But the point we’re trying to make is that these and so many other system components don’t last forever and will eventually need to be replaced. We are the HVAC professional near you who can handle these types of HVAC repair jobs.

And the good news is that not everything is gloom and doom with a repair job. We’ve had customers who thought their AC was lost forever find out that a critter in the attic turned off the power switch. We’ve had others whose system issues were fixed with a quick troubleshooting

phone call. From the easy fixes to the complex replacements, we do it all!

A Little More About Heater Repair …

Texas is known for its blazing hot summers that seemingly last for an eternity and put unbearable pressure on our AC systems. But anyone who has lived in North Texas long enough will tell you that our winters can often feel like the frozen tundra of the northeast. When the

weather changes over to these frigid temps, you expect your heater to step in and do its job. And when it doesn’t, the signs are obvious:

  • The heater isn’t heating at all or not enough
  • Not completing a full cycle
  • Cold spots (one room is fine, the other feels like the ice age)
  • Higher and unexplained heating bills
  • Moisture buildup on windows, ceilings, and walls
  • Sudden and annoying noises you’ve never heard before

A&A Air services and repairs all heater models, including gas furnaces, electric heat pumps, and humidifiers.
